October is Fire Prevention Month, and students at AJK received a special visit from the North Chicago Fire Department!
During the visit, firefighters spoke with students about the importance of fire prevention and safety, sharing valuable information to help them stay safe at home, at school, and in their communities.
One of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity for students to get an up-close look at the firefighters' equipment, fire truck, and ambulance. Students learned about the important tools and vehicles first responders use every day to protect and serve the community.
The visit was a fun and educational experience that helped students better understand the important role firefighters and emergency medical personnel play in keeping everyone safe.
A big thank-you to the North Chicago Fire Department for taking the time to visit AJK, share their knowledge, and help our students learn the importance of fire safety!
