Lake Forest Academy’s Symphony Orchestra made a welcomed return to AJK, continuing a meaningful partnership rooted in music, mentorship, and community connection. Their visit is part of LFA’s ongoing commitment to engaging with local schools and creating shared educational experiences through the arts.
The orchestra delivered a dynamic performance featuring a mix of classical and contemporary pieces, giving AJK students a chance to experience live music in an exciting and accessible way. For many students, the performance offered both inspiration and a deeper appreciation for the power of musical expression.
This continued collaboration is made possible through the support of North Chicago Community Partners (NCCP) , a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through schools. NCCP works to bridge opportunity gaps by connecting students and families with valuable resources and partnerships.
LFA’s relationship with AJK goes beyond the stage. From organizing school supply drives to participating in school-based initiatives, the academy remains committed to supporting AJK students in multiple ways.
The orchestra’s return to AJK not only brought music into the building but also reinforced the strong connection between the two schools, highlighting how the arts can bring people together and enrich a community.
