AJK Academy proudly celebrated Black History Month with a vibrant program featuring the AJK Choir, AJK Dance Team and a powerful performance by the AJK Step Team.
The AJK Choir uplifted the audience with songs honoring unity and resilience. Students also performed energetic dances and shared inspiring poetry that highlighted the achievements and lasting impact of African American leaders.
The AJK Step Team brought excitement and school pride with synchronized rhythms and dynamic chants, showcasing teamwork and discipline rooted in cultural tradition.
The celebration was made even more special with support from students in the Media Club at North Chicago High School, who volunteered their time to assist with production and help make the event a success.
It was a memorable program that honored history while empowering students to express themselves with confidence and pride.
