AJK Academy, once again, proudly celebrated National Reading Day. Continuing a beloved tradition that highlights the importance of literacy and lifelong learning. The event marked a strong start to the new year, reinforcing positive reading habits that support student growth and academic success.
This year’s celebration was especially meaningful as the Waukegan Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. returned for another year to partner with AJK students. Their continued commitment to the school community reflects a lasting relationship built on mentorship, service, and a shared belief in the power of education.
Fraternity members led engaging read-aloud sessions, captivating students with stories that encouraged perseverance, confidence, and a love for reading. Through interactive discussions and positive interactions, students were inspired to see reading as both enjoyable and empowering.
