October is Bully Prevention Month, and AJK Elementary is showing our unity and kindness with a special Bully Prevention Spirit Week! Throughout the week, students, teachers, and staff joined together to celebrate compassion, inclusion, and the power of standing up for others.
At AJK, we believe that kindness is contagious. This past week gave everyone a chance to show what it means to be a good friend and an upstander. Each day brought a new theme and a fun way to spread positivity across our school:
Monday ā āTeam Up Against Bullyingā
Students and staff wore their favorite sports gear to show that weāre all on the same team when it comes to standing up against bullying!
Tuesday ā āBe a Buddy, Not a Bullyā
Twin Day! Students and staff dressed the same as a friend to celebrate the power of friendship and inclusion.
Wednesday ā āOrange You Glad Weāve United Against Bullying?ā
Students and staff wore orange for National Unity Day to show that AJK is united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.
Thursday ā āPut a Cap on Bullyingā
Students and staff topped off their outfits with their favorite hats to remind everyone that weāre putting an end to bullying!
Friday ā āPeace, Love, and Kindnessā
We ended the week on a bright note. Student and staff wore tie-dyes, bright colors, or peace signs to celebrate kindness and a positive school community.
Bully Prevention Spirit Week was more than just dressing up... itās was about making AJK a place where every student feels safe, supported, and valued. Together, we can make a difference by spreading kindness every day!
