Students at AJ Katzenmaier Elementary received a fresh start to the school year thanks to Cutz & Coffee, a community initiative that provided free haircuts to students right inside the school.
Local barbers partnered with AJK to make sure every child could walk into class feeling confident and ready to learn. With clippers buzzing and smiles all around, the schoolās gym was transformed into a pop-up barbershop.
The program was made possible through the generosity of local businesses and barbers who donated their time and talent. Cutz & Coffee is proudly sponsored by Ty Franklin, founder of King in Me Mentoring Academy, who continue to show their dedication to uplifting students and supporting families in the community.
Principal and staff expressed gratitude to the volunteers for giving their time and showing what community spirit looks like in action. The event not only left students looking sharp but also reminded everyone of the power of small acts of kindness.
Cutz & Coffee is more than just a haircutāitās a fresh start, a boost of confidence, and a celebration of community coming together for our kids.
