AJK Elementary School hosted an unforgettable Literacy Night, bringing students, families, and staff together to celebrate the joy of reading and creativity. The highlight of the evening was a special visit from illustrator Tyrus Goshay of TGOSKETCH ILLUSTRATIONS, whose passion for art and storytelling inspired young minds across the school.
Throughout the night, students collaborated to write and illustrate a book together, guided by Goshay’s expertise and encouraging spirit. From brainstorming ideas to sketching characters, the event gave students a hands-on experience in the world of publishing.
Principal and staff praised the event as a powerful reminder of the importance of literacy and creative expression. By the end of the night, each child left with a book, and most importantly, with a sense of pride and excitement for reading and writing.
