AJK Academy came alive this week as students, teachers, and families gathered to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with La Raza, a cultural program aimed at honoring the rich history and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities. The event featured a vibrant mix of student performances, traditional dances, and art displays, all reflecting the diverse cultures within the Hispanic world.
Students showcased their talents by performing regional dances from countries like Mexico, Colombia, and Puerto Rico. The school gym was transformed into a colorful space with flags, papel picado, and cultural artifacts on display.
AJK Academy’s La Raza program not only celebrated Hispanic culture but also fostered an appreciation for diversity and unity among students. This event is part of AJK’s ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive environment where all students can share and celebrate their unique cultural backgrounds.
